Cylinder 5 Spark Plug Replacement After 5k Miles?

Need some help trouble shooting my car. Overview:

late '07 build e90 335i
35k miles
hpfp and injector recalls performed
FMIC, DCI, Procede Rev. III

changed spark plugs at 30k miles due to cylinder 5 misfires. solved the problem, car ran very strong since. have started experiencing cylinder 5 misfires again on the tune, stock map doesn't misfire.

exact same symptoms as before. i've ordered more spark plugs and will switch out the cylinder 5 plug as troubleshooting step. unsure if it's the spark plug yet, but if so, why would a spark plug go bad after only 5k miles? could the injector in cylinder 5 be fouling the spark plug?

Are you getting any codes? Have you tried swapping injectors to see if misfires follow using the same spark plug?

Swap coils to see if the problem follows. If not, it's probably your injector.

10927 - fuel pump plausibility
11757 - power management, standby current control
12220 - ?
12140 - exhaust flap (golf-tee mod)
10705 - cylinder 5 misfire

Does it only happen at startup, or does it happen randomly?
