Do you have DCT or manual? Changes to throttle response and shift rpm are what I see with the DCT. Read the manual.

Manual Transmission does not have the sports button. On DCT, it changes the shift pattern and improves start off engagement of the clutch.

Wrong. It is used in conjunction with the radio. When you press the Sport button, it will automatically tune to the local Sports Radio Station.

1. post some pics of your IS
2. this forum tends to be a little brutal if you don't search or read the manual and ask an epic question about the most important button in the 335is
3. Engage the S-program by pulling the shifter to the LEFT, then press the sport button, then press DTC for one second (as opposed to 3 sec which will engage DSC), then drive
4. Enjoy
5. If you feel no difference, you MUST return the car, there is something wrong with it.

Hmm funny you mention that the CA that took me on my test drive also told me the same thing. He said putting the shifter to DS makes the car shift higher in the RPM range and the Sport Button to change the suspension to a more "sporty feel"

I know that's true for the E60 M5 but not for 335is.
