A more than 30 year long tradition of high-end racing commitments and state-of-the-art solutions within advanced suspension technology is now available for street cars all over the world. For one, if entry price is a concern the Onlins it's priced much lower. For the same price you can only purchase dampers only with JRZ RS1. Both use the monotube technology and will generate damping forces very quickly when compare to oem or a twintube design, but still keep the feel very civilized. Ohlins features an inverted front strut for the most rigidity possible. As far as ride quality goes, you are not going to find a coilover system better than the Ohlins R&T. The JRZ allows the user to purchase springs(any rates) as a complete package in a kit form or source their own brands and rates, which is majory plus if track performance is more of a concern. Ohlins will not allow substitutes and you must purchase other rate springs above the cost of the kit. The JRZ RS1 and Ohlins Road & Track are really head to head here and will make the buying decision really tough. Below you will find a typical front spring swap from Ohlins to Swift of a different rate. My customer simply wanted more springs and that is what we did for him. |

Ohlins R&T
No one has sold and installed more Ohlins R&T products for 335i than HP Autowerks.
Add camber plates? No problem! Different spring rates? No problem! Want more lowering? No problem! Fully assembled with OE upper mounts? No problem! |
