M3 Rocker Panels

Ordered an M-Tech bumper from mod bargains today, and wanted to order some m3 sideskirts while I was at it. After talking to my body shop, they told me it'd be $530 for paint -- more than the bumper. I called another shop and they quoted $425. I live in south texas, not exactly the most expensive place on earth, but those 2 quotes seem astronomical for painting some rocker panels. Am I just out of touch or do I need to call more shops?
