New guy, first BMW.

So I just picked up my first BMW over the weekend. I have been looking off and on for the past 6 months or so when I stumbled across this car. I was amazed that it was on the used market and had everything I wanted. I couldn't pass it up and couldn't be more happy.

I came from custom built (by myself) turbo Hondas and an Evo 8, so this car was a big upgrade in the luxury department. My last Civic was much faster (330whp/290ft.lb torque in 2200lbs car), but I think the BMW is a much better balance of speed, power, luxury, and looks.

Anyways, about the BMW...it is a e90 lci with paddles, fully loaded with xDrive, M-sport (couldn't believe I found a car on used market w/ M-sport!), BBS RGR 19" wheels, Dinan stage 2 engine/boost upgrades and suspension, Dinan exhaust, and Dinan oil cooler. I am loving it so far...

Next summer I plan on doing black kidneys, new lip, maybe a small trunk spoiler, wheel spacers, and possibly suspension for a little more low.

Enough talk...on to the pics...

Debadge it. Get floss or fishing line. Heat up that area from about 6'' away. Floss the numbers and i off. Pick the extra glue off. Use goo-b-gone to remove remaining residue. Wash the area off (run through car wash), and wax the area.

Great looking car. Congratulations.

I'd be wary of lowering an X drive car. I don't know what this would do to the AWD system or how well it functions. Maybe nothing.

Right, I forgot the Dinan pedals! I guess that means you don't want to buy my Outlander then?

Thinking about it, done it before on other cars. I have the Dinan badging which has instructions on how to do it as well. (Dinan badging def' not going on car though).

I've seen xi's lowered before, we'll see, it is not on top of my list 'cause I still need this thing to get around in a little bit of snow since I'm selling my Outlander.
