LMAO. Something very similar happened to me a few months ago. I failed drifting in the rain, rear driver wheel hit a curb, bent inwards. All in all, the rear subframe had to be changed along with control arms and knuckle and the tire and rim $3500 job, and almost a month without the car.

Shit, you're telling me... it was both rims and sub frame and totall was like 9K between part and labor at the BMW Service... and then rental was like 1800-- fu##

3. drive the e9x when

hope you get the car back soon though! i recently had to go 3 weeks without my car and it was a sincerely depressing 3 weeks.

Bad luck OP, can happen to anyone however i would highly recommend drifting your car in an area where if you do lose control there is plenty of run off/space to spare if you do make a mistake.

I just got it back, washed it, clayed it and waxed the hell out of it and it look brand new!!!
