Question XM & SIRIUS in PR???

Hey all,

Can you give me a read on whether or not XM and/or SIRIUS provide coverage in PR? Do any of you have it? How is the fidelity and reception? I'd like to know before I ship my car to determine if I get it installed or not.

Thanks,

Peace!!!

However under the Sirius page PR appears as option to get the service. Sincerelly, I have never requested the service from Sirius, but from BMW as option I think is not available.

I was looking at the Sirius service coverage map and it seems as if it does cover PR, although it is faintly shaded. I'll have to wait until I arrive in a few weeks to ask around.

On a whole different note . . . Did they finish building the Best Buy in PR?

Peace!!!

No. I believe it is delayed.

Comp USA is the only american store chain in PR similar to Best Buy.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to give up a lot of things once I move back to PR. Wow, after 23 years away from the Island, returning to PR is going to be a big culture shock for me. Hopefully I'll learn to cope quickly.

Peace!!!

Ok, XM and Sirius do work in PR. But you have to register with a US adress, the signal does reach PR. My BMW dealer told me this.

also I was told that the factory navigation will start working in PR by summer 2008.

(They're building a Best Buy by Plaza las Americas btw)

Yeah, we get the best of both worlds. But there is a price to pay.
