No VR in my 2006 330i with 25.04. After update 25.1.1 everything works great. No issues with any electronics that I have noticed!!!

Just dropped my baby off to get the update... will let you know how it goes.... driving a 325 right now.... its got some punch to it!!!!!:rocks:

good thing i'm going in for an oil change soon. My verison right now has about a 15 second period where everything freezes completely and its a Huge pain in my ass

I'll just wait until I can get my yearly oil change and then ask them to upgrade the software too.

Did you ask for 25.1.1 or 25.01.1? I am kind of confuse on the numbering of the version...

Just made appointment for progman upgrade. The reservation people couldn't tell me the version of the software and the service guys aren't answering the phones.

I mentioned the said TSB and that I wanted 25.1.1, we'll see what I end up with. I use the VR quite a bit so I'll know if it works out or not.

Hope this doesn't take more than a day. Last time they had to keep the car overnight and I had to train home. Also they no longer provide ride to the office.. so much for service..

just mention the tsb for the arrow pop-up for idrive (if you have idrive). Regardless, I still haven't found a solid way to figure what version progman I have. From what i read, the service menu doesn't tell you much.

So basically, if my VR breaks then I didn't get 25.1.1. I will post update after.

Got the new update today...... works great!!!!!! Traffic and VC working fine!!!!! New IDRIVE is SOOOOOOO MUCH FASTER!!!!!!! Love the POI search, also noticed that my DVD drive isn't constantly reading anymore and being super loud... also bluetooth connects much easier and sounds much clearer....... Another great feature is now the navigation lady's voice doesn't totally cut out the radio.. the radio just becomes a little more quiet in the background as she talks which is a great feature!!! I'll be sure to post some more things once I find them!!!

Where is the info on the differences between versions?

Just reporting back that I got the update. The maps are different color and poi search is available. However, it did not pickup the right location.. took a reboot and a good 30 min of driving b4 it slowly corrected itself.

They also did some 'work' on my sunroof without me asking and it came back broken. Will call them tomorrow to complain.
