Question 2011 335 Xdrive - not CPO - Red Flag?

I am looking into replacing my 2006 325xi that was totaled earlier this month.

I found this car that has all the options I was looking for:

http://www.bobbyrahalbmw.com/used/BM...cd44d598f2.htm

It is not listed as CPO though... is this a red flag? I was smelling something fishy when the car was originally listed as having the M sport package when it clearly does not. When I emailed the seller they quickly corrected it and said it was an error. What are your thoughts on buying a 2011 used that is not a CPO? Should I keep looking for a perfectly optioned car and let this one go?

Thanks.

You'll still get the remaining factory 4 year/50K plus all service on this one, that's not just for the first owner. At 16K, there's still a lot of warranty left. Personally, I wouldn't worry about CPO on this one, but that's just me.

I agree there is a lot of warranty left, but I guess that I am trying to figure out is: Is there something wrong with this car not to make CPO status? There should be about 3 years left of the warranty (I will not put the miles on the car to hit 50k by then).

The dealer is not going to CPO a 2011 car. It has too much warranty remaining and no CPO finance incentives, so they would be adding cost to the car that they can't make back or incent someone to purchase to move the car faster. You however, can request it to be certified and then you'll find out if there are any irregularities that would prevent it from being CPO'd.

Thanks, makes sense.

They do have a 2011 328 coupe that is a CPO, but I decided that I am going turbo this time around.

Am I missing something? That car doesn't look like a 2011... the hood is different. Am I wrong?

Edit: Disregard. I'm tired.
