Thrust arm bushing?

Thrust arm bushing?
So I installed KW V2 coilovers and went to get my car aligned twice. Alignment is within spec but my car still has a slight pull to the left. I was told that my thrust arm bushing is bad on one side, so before I bite the bullet and upgrade both to the m3 ones, does anybody know if this is a common issue?
Does that sound like it will alleviate my problem? The car was driving straight before the coilover install and the alignment is within spec so my only guess is when the control arm was being yanked down to pull the front coilovers out of the car is when maybe there was a tear or something. Thanks in advance!! - Dave |

Before I install my kw, my mechanic found the bushings has worn out. Car was jerking in the front badly, no idea about leaning to one another but when thrust bushings is worn out it is more about steering wheel shaking and jerking when braking. I kept thinking my wheel was bent whole time. Then when bushings was replaced under warranty,no more vibrating on steering wheel. I installed kw. I was happy after.

Hmmmm, my wheel vibrates only slightly around 50mph. Not over and not under which is quite odd. My car just has a slight pull to the left no matter what road I am on. The alignment is all within spec.
I'd LOVE to get this warrantied but I am sure my SA will say the coilovers caused it so I'm basically asking the question before I fork over 300 bucks for repairs. 300 for mods...ok, but repairs annoy me! - Dave |

![]() Thanks for the info. Can you post up which # you are talking about? I just want to make sure I order the right ones. I will be getting the m3 parts most likely, but will look into the replacements you have mentioned as well. Thanks! |

There is a HD replacement bushings only or complete control arms. Alternatively, you can just replace them with the M3 version. |

I think HP has M3 ones AND rubber bushing with arms that are a little softer then the M3 ones that are like 1/2 the price. Could be an option, I am looking into this for my wifes car also.

Yes, we have just the HD bushings only, the control arms with HD bushings or the M3 version.

Are parts #5, 9 and 8 all one-use items? Should they be replaced when upgrading to the M3 control arms?
