Your Evap system appears to be leaking air. That's what it sounds like Part of you emissions system. Take it to an indy shop. They'll figure it out.

Any update on this issue? Did you ever resolve it?

I am running into similar issue but not sure about the diagnosis thus far (thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=814236).

hello,
I just found out that it was an electrical issue, I have had it on for over a year now and cant find the short.
on a side note I think it could be with one of the connectors on my ecu wires.

I won't be surprised if I have an electrical issue too... man... what's the best way to test that out?? I think I had very similar to you... I have

p2401
p2419
p1429
p1430
p0597 (water pump was replaced, I am 100% sure the cable messed up as I was watching the guys replace this some time ago)

Any suggestions? Hard to find a good trust worthy experienced indy shop in Brooklyn. My experience hasn't been great from pep boys to some indy shops.
