TV/DVD on iDrive - Any kits?
I've had tv tuner & dvd players on both of my previous vehicles, but they're all in dash units. I've order the 330i with iDrive, anyone knows any kits that will allow hookups of tv tuner and DVD into iDrive without voiding warranties? I've seen some on like nav-tv or something but they don't seem to be able to work with iDrive units.

I don't know if this is any help, but I know Acura TL and Infiniti G35 owners have found a way to play DVDs on their NAV screens. They install some receiver that hooks into the screen and then play audio through the stereo...google "G35 forum" and go to freshalloy.com (I think) and search around their FAQ. Hope that helps.

Well I mean the iDrive hardware itself should be either same or at least similar to the 7 series. So if they have one for those iDrives, they should be able to work with the e90 right.

OMG, guys, stop telling him to search and whatnot (I know, coming from me
), umcool911ok brought back a thread from the dead, this thread was created almost 2 years ago, since then, TvandNav2Go has already came out with a kit that allows watching DVDs in the nav screen
