black chrome for sure man, you have "black" everything else. getting tips that are not black will just throw everything off.

I would go black chrome, but I think the 4" look a bit too big, the 3.8" are a better size in my book, but if you can't get them in black then I would probably still do them in the 4"

Thanks for the replies gentlemen, still deciding . I'm leaning towards the black chrome because of the blacked out theme of the car, but I also like the chrome for the classy tip look, and of course the brushed aluminum for the clean OEM appearance...this decision will be difficult

If you're talking about the black chrome tips, I was told that they are high temp coated and would protect against fading due to the heat, but I too am curious, if anyone else had any heat related discoloration issues.

I went with the brushed aluminum 3.8" tips on my Space Gray 335. I think it looks great and clean since the brushed aluminum matches the window trim.

depends...

black chrome if you have debadged or have the blacked out "335i" badge.

otherwise, whichever color that matches your badge the most.

Can someone recommend a good measurement as to how far these tips should stick out? I don't want it sticking out like a sore thumb and don't want it all tucked in either. Maybe something like this: http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/f...7/DSC_6454.jpg
