So lame... I though the guy will start beating his wife after 20 'beeps'.

The first one is even worse, they didn't even park the prank car at the same spot as the original..

+1

I was thinking the same thing. Very very lame.

Don't see why this would be fake. People speak English in Singapore. Also, the guy's reaction seems about right.. Too bad he didn't get to keep it.

I can imagine the guy's heartbreak when he sees the better car, gets told he's on camera, gets told to take it for a spin, and ends with him not keeping any of it!

I agree that this would be way better if they replaced the owner's car with one that looks cosmetically the same, but has the performance kit. Then they should show the reaction of the driver as he's driving the car and realizing that it's not his/her car.

Still wish we could get those performance seats in this country without blowing codes and losing airbag functionality.....

Well, if that was real, it's going to be kind of awkward next time mother in law visits.

Agree that these feel very fake.

But what I don't understand is why they didn't upgrade his car like they did to the 135i in the first "Switch"? http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=592567

Perhaps because that was only the software Power Kit and Performance exhaust. This switch would have been much more pricey with the wheels/seats, etc.

I don't get these at all. Hey look, we switched your car with a car that clearly looks different. Where is the element of surprise? what is the point of these videos?

The marketing company should be fired.

This guys is a total dick who doesn't even deserve his regular car, let alone such a cute and lovely wife. I genuinely feel sorry for her, she could have done a lot better...

That's the transponder of Electronic Road Pricing in Singapore. If you drive into congested area (financial district etc) during peak hours, you get charged.

Of course the dealership over there would prefer they take the BMW Performance car away and have the owner to buy it from them...its more like...ok you've tried how "nice" it is, now show me your wallet and pay these overpriced stuff....

This is stupid. Switching somebodys car with one that looks remotely like it.. and then just waiting for their reaction? Hoekee, great marketing.
