My new powdercoated M359's on Tiag!

Finally put my new Avant Garde M359's that I picked up from Alan************ on the car. I had them custom finished in an anthracite, or sparking gunmetal finish here in Atlanta. I am running Falken FK452's 235/35/19 and 275/30/19's on the rear. I think I am going to push the wheels out on all 4 corners with a 5mm spacer when I drop the car.

Center caps are OEM BMW spec faces mounted on aftermarket cups. I couldn't find an aftermarket set that looked right so I bought OEM ones and sanded the aftermarket ones and epoxied the OEM faces on.

I tried to take pictures in some different lights so you can get a idea of the color and concavity. They look identical to OEM spec wheels. Pictures are taken with my iPhone 4. Not the best pictures but you can get a general idea.

Any criticism/comment welcome!

**wheels have a little brake dust on them in these images hence the slight brownish haze.

A few more of the other mods:

Love the wheels. I think wrapping the chrome window trim and maybe getting the roof wrapped with gloss black would really compliment the diffuser and make the car pop that much more.

Agreed. I did all my engine mods first.

Just put the M-tech bumper on and the wheels. Next is the trim and after the suspension. Possibly an M-tech front or M3 bumper... Bed Bath and Beyond.. I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.

The car looks great with the new Avant Garde M359 wheels, E92 M-tech style rear bumper, AE Performance Exhaust and of course the aFe intake system. The custom powder coat definitely sets it off and gives the wheels a personal touch. Kudos and keep up the great work!

They are 19x9 19x10.. offsets in the mid 30's IIRC. The offset doesn't actually affect the face geometry so I played it safe. I can always push them out with a small spacer.

I agree on the tires. The tires are pretty much as robust of a sidewall as I can run when(if) I drop the car.

I test fitted a 285/30 on the rear and while looking very aggressive it would massively rub when dropped even with a roller fender. The fronts are pretty much vertical.. they are 235's but its a 35 sidewall so they look pretty square.

The tires will look more in place when I drop the car.

EDIT: the bottom pics of the car in the sun are actually a 265. The tire place ordered the wrong tires and mounted them on. The top pics are with the 275.

..those r half inch wider than mine f+r..and I run the same tires..so i noticed that space on the wheel lip and the tire..the falkens run pretty narrow for their size.. if u ever decide to do a diff tire later on it will fill the gap right up..

Thanks.

Its 30%, but its the Pinnacle F1 ceramic tint. The ceramic stuff looks a little darker IMO.
