Audison Bit 10D or JBL MS8

Just wanted to get your opinions and views on which is better for a set up that has the following in the non i-drive E90:

Aftermarket door speakers
Aftermarket tweeters
After market rear shelf speakers
Sub Installed in Boot
4 chan Amp

Would JBL MS8 be better or the Audison Bit 10 D??Any suggestions would be great thanks everyone :-)

I would get a bitone. In my oppinion the ms8 is complicated setup. bitone has more inputs then bittenD and you could get a pretty good deal on a bitone

Are any of them needed? Or is this an essential part of an audio upgrade?

Neither is "needed", although the base Stereo system, which uses a deck-power heavily-equalized speaker-level signal out, needs SOME kind of correction. The HiFi system, for example, doesn't need any correction at all.

The question is somewhat simplistic. Both work fine, neither is cheap. The MS-8 is easier to get good results with. The audison requires use of a computer and a lot more savvy. They are both pretty good products.

Well, if you don't know what the hell you are doing (and most of us don't) then the Bit10 will likely never give you as good results as the MS-8 does in 30 seconds. I'm speaking from experience, mind you, coming from a BitOne.

Lol, old thread nonetheless good for new comers and me as I'm still learning lots about my Bit One - paid half the RRP as bought from a forum member but still has lots of warranty left :-)
Can't say I'm disappointed but I've got a lot of learning / tuning to do .. more to follow this Sunday with another session with the local guy I know, entering EMMA next year
