Finally got everything in..now need to install

So after about almost two years of eagerly watching reading and learning about who what and how.. I think I have amassed the best possible suspension set-up for me.

Huge THX to Harold at HP Autowerks..who spent countless hours talking w/ me and discussing what would best suit my needs. Im not exagerrating here guys..this man spent the better part of a year fielding neurotic calls from me discussing every possible setup and product out there on the market.

So after all that here is what I am going to be running:

-AST 4200 Dual Adjustable
-Swift Springs 336 / 672
-Vorschlag Camber Plates

-M3 Front Control Arms - Complete
-M3 Rear Control Arms - Complete
-M3 Front & Rear Sway Bars
-M3 Front Top Mount Strut Brace
-M3 Rear Subframe Bushings
-M3 Rear Lower Camber Links

-OS Giken TCD LSD

The hardest decision was definitely deciding on the spring rates and whether I should run camber plates..but waiting it out proved to be very beneficial as I got to see what others here in NY streets were running..the optimum dual street/track setup would have been 392/784 but given I went w dual adjustables Harold and I agreed that I could tweak the compression setting to compensate if need be and run the step down spring rates.

I couldnt be happier w all my choices..the hardest part is going to be to wait to install as I decided it would be best to beat the crap outta of my OEM suspension and install everything near the spring of next year, once the roads and potholes are filled again here in NY.. A few pics..quality on all is top notch especially the OS Giken LSD and Vorschlag camber plates which look absolutely amazing.

Nice collection! With all that to be installed, it would be an easy install to also do your brake lines to the stainless steel ones. I would highly recommend VAC Motorsports in Philadelphia for your install. Drive down and train home.

I have had those same parts installed to my car by VAC, minus the coilovers. Would recommend them for the work. They are quality.

The reason i ask is the OSG install is different from a wavetrac or quaife..and when I spoke to VAC they said they hadnt done one..I decided to do the install for the LSD at diffsonline.com; Dan has done several OSGs

Wow! What a collection I thought you already had this suspension installed G/L waiting until next Spring. Sounds like you made the right spring choice if your car is daily driven. It's still going to be alot firmer than what you've been driving +1 for Harold at HPA
Where's the rear toe links?

THX very much...NO I had been waiting and waiting n waiting for my ASTs to come in they took 5 months! ..thats why i didnt get a chance to put on my suspension in time for the summer..

The rear toe links are in the bottom left corner of the pic..below the sub-frame bushings.

Those are the M3 lower control arms below the subframe bushings. With all that hardware I'll bet you'll want to replace the toe links as well. You'll still get torque steer w/the oe arms; I do anyway. I'm going to get the VM toe links when Harold gets them back in stock.
Looking forward to hear how you like that c/o when you get it installed..

Sorry.. the ones that on the bottom left are the rear lower camber links..

The rear toe links are the last pieces I need ...dont have em yet..can't use the M3 for those..there are only two aftermarket options either the Megan racing or Velocity motor cars..The VMs have been out of stock for about 7 months now..I am going to see if they are coming back into stock if not I will go w the Megan

I will bumping this thread when I install.. im doing everything at once to save on labor..its going to be a radical difference going from full stock to full aftermarket suspension plus LSD...should make for some fun driving

Awesome collection. You will love the feel afterward. Can't believe you're going to wait til next spring but I do understand your reasoning.

So, you gonna upgrade your wheels and tires too? Not bashing but it looks that will be your weakest link... Assuming you might track this monster.

Yeah I know the Beyerns arent the lightest wheel..but they are fairly strong..no immediate plans..but anything is possible.

I absolutely wanna track this thing once I get it all on..do you really think the light weight wheels plays that big of a role? The current weight is 26 lbs front 30 rear.

That's a bit heavy but probably fine for NY daily city drives. Having something that can withstand nasty potholes is probably high on your priority list.

If you're serious about the track, I'd get a 2nd set-square setup in 17 or 18. You can get wheels as low as 17 pounds. That along with R compounds will make quite a bit of difference.

I love 'em <19 lbs, nice finish, outside lip isn't as deep as other CSL style wheels so they're easier to clean..
