Anyone running spacers with stock sport wheels for "wider" look?
What size and brand spacers is recommended for this? Is it safe to put spacers up front?
Thank you! Sam |

There are several members with spacers on. You can put 15mm on with no issues. As far as brand goes, I'm not sure if they will even make a difference...I think it's just a piece of metal with longer bolts, no?

For further information, please use the search button. You do not run spacers in the front because it is deemed unsafe. You use the spacers in the rear for the flushed look. You can get a set from numerous sources, such as vendors on the forum, and other members selling them. Check for marketplace.

Total BS! If you don't know what you are talking about please don't post! High quality hub-centric spacers like the ones from H&R, Rogue and Eibach are 100% safe for use on the front and rear of your car when used with the correct length bolts or studs.

Even when I had my Evo, I went to suspension gurus, www.robispec.com, and http://www.muellerized.com and they said the same exact thing. After a quick search.. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=spacers+front |

http://www.ezaccessory.com/Billet_Hu...MW_p/5120b.htm I guess I didn't read the fine print, which states: These adapters can be used on the following BMW 5 Series (97-on) 6 Series (04-on) M5 (01-on) I guess the hub-contour height is a little taller in the 3 series, so the the receptacle on these spacers aren't deep enough to accept it. The spacers will float about 1-2mm off the surface. Also, the 45mm bolts I got from ezaccessories.com are very heavy... they have a HUGE chrome-plated head. I guess if I had bling bling wheels and wanted bolts that stick out, these would be it... Anyway, they all seem to be good quality parts. See attachment of the wheel spacers and bolts below. I will have to see if I can return them. So I ran down to Wheel Power and picked up a set of H&R Wheel Spacers and 45mm bolts with standard heads. Got them installed at a tire shop for $25 too, and I'm happy with the results! |
