Thinkin of converting to lci!
For those of you who have converted from pre lci front end to lci how much have you guys paid for that!
Would love to get the new front bumper with better looking grills and even settle with lci halogens ! Will be selling the pre lci parts that will be replaced in the conversion! Monaco blue if anyone interested! |

Cruise the for sale board. I found some pretty good deals. The hood I got for 300 bucks on here but altogether the m-tech front bumper, trunk lid, new rear lights, hood, paint, and coding cost me around 2500 bucks..
The headlights will cost you around 1500-2000k for Xenon and AHL... Cheaper for just halogen. Then you have to buy the new light module which is around 300-400 bucks.. and possibly some more coding.. Its really starts adding up... |

\i would have to say its the grill and hood the pre lci euro adaptive headlights actually look nicer in my opinion and have a lot more detail than the lci lights

i haven't done it, but i'm thinking close to $1,900. ($300 for front bumper, $600 for hood, and $1,000 in paint matching). I'm not including lights for the fact that Xenon lights or any kind of aftermarket lights would be sufficient based on buyer preference.

It's a 3 piece swap which ever way you look at it... As for myself, if they make an M3 replica for LCI, i'll likely do the LCI conversion myself, i like the accents they added to the hood and it could still look quite stealthy/sleeper if i put a supercharger under the hood. |

I paid $600 for my msport conversion.
Got the oem bumper off eBay for $350 shipped from England so it was a euro spec bumper ......no ugly amber reflectors! ![]() And I had a friend paint for $200. But he normally charges $400. I made my own grills out of gutter gaurds and plasti-dipped them black. Did not buy fogs. That will up the price another $100-300 depending on whether you go OEM or not. I did not buy any new under carriage panels or fender liners. The fender liners bolted up fine. The undercarriage however, only worked with 2 screws. You can drill threw the bumper and utilize the existing mounting points. Or buy the new undercarriage cover. Or just use the 2 screws like I did. It's hold up fine. Ohh and I also did not get the LCI hood. I had to trim the top bar off the LCI grills so my pre-LCI hood would close. |

I know alot of people might disagree with me right now, but I actually think the pre-lci looks both classier and more agressive with the right mods. Especially if you get clear ambers or LCI headlights.
It's just the flat, wide look of the bumper that makes it look sleeker to me, I don't know. I am sure if I had an LCI I wouldn't be saying this.
