Used 335d ... which should I get?

Hi all - I'm thinking about joining the BMW fold and would like your help in deciding between two pretty different cars. I'm trying to decide between:

2010 CPO 335d, Sport/Premium/Nav, 5k miles, $40k
and
2011 non-CPO 335d, Sport/Premium/Nav/Cold Weather/Comfort Access, 18k miles, $38k.

The 2010 is a 1-owner local car. The 2011 was a manufacturer/executive (not dealer) demo and has never been registered.

Are either of these reasonable deals, which one would you go for, and if I go for the non-CPO one, how much should I expect to pay for certification after the fact? Thanks in advance.

2011.... new sachs shocks are infinitely better. Plus it has cold weather and comfort access.... yes, more miles, but if you planning on owning the car for 3-4 years, the extra miles won't matter much.... take the 2011, buy a bmw extended warranty for $3k...

BUT

what are the color combos

The '10 is gray with black interior. The '11 is black sapphire with saddle brown interior. I'm honestly leaning toward the '11. Original MSRP on the car was $54625. They're offering $38k uncertified and $40k certified. I negotiated a new '11 just like it down to $46k.

Trying to figure out whether the 18k extra miles are worth saving $6-8k over new, and whether the CPO is worth the extra $2k ...

Garage List
2007 BMW 335i  [4.00]
1989 BMW M3  [4.10]
I'd go for the 2011 - it's a great sounding car and a good deal - skip CPO'ing it since you likely have 2-3 years of warranty left and CPO doesn't cover Nav. 2-3 years down the road, before the warranty runs out, if you plan on keeping the car, walk into your dealer and buy the BMW warranty plan that covers nav for about $3k.

Disagree... it has 18K miles... You can find the same car with 5-8k miles for $2-3k more
