Avoid anything that could be interpretted as arrogance.
Humour is OK. Prevent child abuse, or 'green' plates are generally cool.

Jeez... what are you trying to say Steve?
I've had my vanity tag for many many years, and on many different cars. I don't particularly like tags that try to say something about the driver or the car, or express arrogance or aggression. I think those are just asking for trouble. Just like putting a bumper sticker on your car that expresses your political or social opinion... almost guarantees you'll piss off 50% of the people who see it. Back in the day, I used to get a lot of horn honking and thumbs up ( ) from people on the road. Went over very well in the Philly Spectrum parking lot before a rock concert... when it was on my black Camaro...

LEDZEP, cool plate!
agree with your comments. a) MOV-OVR is arrogant as hell, on a car that people already stereotype with arrogant drivers. Please don't get us hated and stereotyped any more. And every faster car on the road will want to dust you. And rightfully so, with that plate. b) E93? Why? It IS one. Doesn't the car speak for itself? Most people don't even know what "E93" means, and will think; "huh?"....and those that do know will think "uh, I can see that". If you want to put something obvious, how about "car" ? |

No no no no dont do this to your car man. If you do it, think of something that will be less provocative to KEY-ME

On my Z, I had the regular plate with custom lettering... It was VQ3 5DE, the engine code for the VQ engine... It was meant to capture looks from the enthusiast crowd and was a relatively clean "phrase" to put since it didn't put anyone down...
For the BMW I was thinking about a couple things but would've kept it clean either way... I was going to get a Support Law Enforcement plate with my nickname (JROD) but ended up getting one honoring Challenger/Columbia with regular letters. I had a German style plate made with my nickname and numbers that to the untrained eye, looks like a plate with random letters, but to friends and family is something... Old Z: Current 335i:
