Help: CIC does not read DVD Disc or play DVD Video - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi,
I searched the forum but no help. I have a CIC and it reads MP3 Data CD disc.
However I tried to play several DVD Videos and it says Format not supported. I have also burned a DVD Data disc with Mp3 and it also doe not read them.
I burned it with 8x Speed and its about 3.5 GB.

Might it be possible that the DVD laser is damaged and the cd laser is working?
I am not sure if the CIC is fitted with two lasers.

I had this problem with my Playstation 3 where I had to change the Blu ray laser. It had two laser fitted.

I also did a soft reset by holding the power button for >3 sec. Still the same problem

CD/DVD Use one Diode. For VIM you need to have it coded or are you merely looking to play audio back via dvd?

I want to play video dvd. I have tried several orignal DVD. It says format not recognized. Therefore I thought the dvd diode might be damaged. Its really strange.
