suspension questions please HELP !!!

i have an 09 e90 sports package . with h&r race springs that i had installed from my e92 but the installer put an after market shocker absorber instead of the factory yell rubber groment one .. the front seems very low ... ? also when I'm standing still and turn the wheel to the left it has a clicking sound what can that be ? please any info is great info

ask the installer if they put every part back to the struts, any missing parts might cause these problems (springs not seated properly, rattles etc). goodluck

thanks ... he put everything but he said he put a aftermarket shock absorber as the factory yellow rubber one is on the box

you mean he used an aftermarket bump stop? (little rubber thing with hole down the center).

yes bump stop ... will this affect the hieght because i had the same springs on my e92 but with the factory bump stop ... and my e90 is way lower

no, the bump stop should not affect the height.

it's possible he put the washers on incorrectly. if you put one of the washers under the upper spring plate instead of on top of it, it will make the front lower than normal, and the parts rub together, which could be the noise you are hearing.
