330i navigation screen and plastic. Help!

The plastic in front of my navigation screen is gone and 3 green and red lines are running down my navigation. What will this cost to repair? A ladder rammed into it and punctured the plastic and hit the screen. The screen looks fine when it is off but when it turns on the 3 vertical lines appear. :/

LOL this.

Trying to use the car for everything it's worth eh?

Save yourself the pain- snap up a Dodge Ram or Ford F150 on the cheap

Not much you can do I'm afraid, especially out of warranty. I do know repairing or replacing those navigation screens can get downright scary.

Maybe you can score another nav unit from a junkyard off a 330/ E90 on the cheap- just an idea.

On the upswing, at least you had a plastic covering on your screen- if my screen got damage like that it would've been obliterated- one of the great cost-cutting measures BMW made in 2011.

To be fair though, there is virtually no glare, even in direct sunlight. In comparison to my 2009 navigation screen, this is tons better visibility wise.

Yeah I'm thinking ebay for this one. Sounds like a couple grand if taken to a dealership. Maybe try an Indy shop by you and get a quote?

I'm guessing all that needs replacement is the screen itself

Yes because of the bitch slapped it took from a LADDER! OMG (Ok I'm here to help do not ask any questions)

You'll be searching for a CCC display/screen. I hope no cables were harmed (in the bitch slapping as well).

Nav screen is all you need. 5 min job to unscrew 2 screws and move connector. Screen is about $120 on eBay shipped. Here is one - item# 130928634535.
