328 Race Car Pics

Though i would share a few pictures of a car that's at the shop i work at. Its 328 e90 race car. Turner built the car and we are making it faster. 3 stage intake manifold and OE Tune. Baselined at 218whp.














UPDATE
Here are a few pictures of the Manifold and intake installed. Car will be going on the dyno for tuning this weekend!

It seems more race efficient if all the money invested was to go into buying a 335.

the 335i or M3 is not the only cars that are tuned for racing... its a common misconception that the 325/8i is just a less powerful car so that people can buy it as a marketing gimmick to own a BMW...

I recently went to the Rolex Continental Tire Grand-Am Road Racing out in Leguna Seca and there are many different divisions that the 335 is not capable of entering it.

I'll just break it down for the people reading it for anyone that's interested

Street Tuner division - 4-6 cylinders, 170-240hp, tank capacity 16.9-17.9 gallons, top speed 135, 2,200lb-3,125lbs, tires width 8.7-10"

Grand Sport - 350-406HP, 19-20 gallons, 160 top speed, 2,900-3,300lbs, 8.7-10" tires

Grand Touring- engine = 3.6 flat 6-6.0L V8, Max RPM 8400, 400-450hp, top speed 180, weight 2,240-2,800lbs, tire width 9.4-11.5"

So depending on what division you want to race in, keep in mind that whatever the model of the 3 series, it was built for racing and BMW wants to cover every division.
