Will Peake show water pump failure codes?

On my 2007 335i.. Overheated twice now. Yellow to red lights to stuck in middle of road. Did the water pump test after I battled to get home.. the car ran the pump for 30+ mins so I just shut it off. Sounded like a washing machine for the first 1 min or so...then sounded like a normal running electric motor after that. No water noises. Next day I tried the same water pump air test, and the pump didn't come on... I want to see what codes I have. From what I have read they are shadow codes. Will Peake scan tool read these codes?? BT is to much $

I don't think so, but check the manual and contact them. http://www.peakeresearch.com/manual.htm

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
