i wanna buy this but 1st i wanna know if the grip is good? ive had aftermarket aluminum pedals before but my shoes always slip

The rubber inserts protruding out of the pedals give me a very good grip. hardly ever slide off but I am not sure if the type of shoe soles play a factor or not.
