Recommendations for local shops? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

So my 2008 328xi is out of new car warranty in January 2012. Anyone have recommendations on a good indy shop for maintenance and repairs? Looking to bring the in car for a general inspection on what I should have the dealer fix/replace.

I'm not too nervous on major things since my extended warranty kicks in afterwards, but trying to minimize how much I spend out of pocket! Located in Queens but willing to travel a little bit for a good/reasonably priced shop.

If you want to come out over the GWB, we have our new location in Fair Lawn (<20 minutes from NYC) and have a Senior level BMW Master Tech on staff

I'm in Brooklyn and am interested in a good shop too that won't try to rip me off. Most of these shops think you don't know anything and are willing to throw your wallet at them. I need to get my shocks/springs replaced soon, one is busted and probably need general maintenance check.
