335i vs 335i

SO ive narrowed it down between two cars now. I finally need some opinions from the experts. I found a 07 coupe with sport and automatic with paddles that has 76k miles. Then i found a 07 sedan 6mt with sport that has 89k miles. both cars have the same options and are in about the same condition. Is there anything to worry about on these cars with 89k miles? So what would you recommend?

Yeah...don't get a turbo car with that many miles and expect it to be reliable.

I don't know why people seem to think that these 335i's are supposed to explode when they get high mileage. It will just require maintenance; but I don't see why not?

Too many unknown miles.

If you knew the previous owner...then maybe, but personally I would never buy a used car with that many miles...regardless of who the previous owner was.

The car is out of warranty and you have no idea how it was driven or maintained. Repair cost for these cars are insane... From what I took away...you're concerned about price which is understandable...but the cost of ownership is another important factor that many overlook.

What good is saving $3,000 on the price of a car, when you'll have to shell that out during the first repair?

I'd keep looking...

I have high mileage 335 AT which I bought with 60K miles 2 years ago.
The car gave me so many troubles I already regret I didn't get at least CPO with those miles.
So I would stay away from those cars.

EDIT: and I'm not talking about minor things here and there... I'm talking about as everybody say - turbo problems, carbon built up, leaking gaskets (head gasket, oil filter housing), etc, etc...

You never know if the original owner didn't adhere to the break in period and drove the car rough from the get go.
