Black valet key

Hey guys!

I just upgraded my iPhone case to the twelve south book book for iPhone 4 case and its pretty awesome. As a result, i have limited amount of room for stuff. I usually keep my black valet key inside a pocket of my card holder..but now, i am not going to be able too b/c it will be overly bulky.

Out of curiosity, do u guys usually keep ur little black key with u in ur wallet incase ur key decide to stop working randomly or it is something u don't really mess with and have it locked away somewhere?

Just seeing what u guys do so i can decide what i should do!

lay on your back and duct tape it under the car somewhere. plenty of good hiding spots in the rear bumper area. fold over a flap on one end of the tape so it is easier to remove should you need to actually pull the thing back off again in 4 years.

Do you mean a valet key for Comfort Access quipped cars? They don't have the physical key that comes out of the remote like on non-CA keys?

My 06 without comfort access came with 3 keys:

2 transponders with removable keys
1 valet (wallet) key without a transponder. the glovebox has a 'shell' for this key which the key can be put in to start the car.

doing this totally saved my ass once when my old car locked me out while pumping gas. i had an aftermarket alarm that would lock the doors after a certain period. remembered i had taped the key up under the inside of the bumper cover and pulled it out.

wanted to mention that locking yourself out at a gas pump has to be one of the most humiliating places you could have it happen.
