DPs+Resonators+Muffler Delete

Hey I've read numerous posts about people doing muffler deletes or asking about muffler deletes and the same answer is:

Crazy drone or too loud

Now, I have AR Design catless downpipes, secondary cat delete with Vibrant resonators in place, and a section 3 magnaflow exhaust.

As soon as I deleted my 2nd cats, the sound was awesome, however, the rasp was pretty bad at times. You could get around the rasp by changing the way you drive. However, I still installed the resonators thinking it would only take away the rasp. I was happy but disappointed at the same time as the sound wasn't nearly as raw and loud, but no rasp.

My questions is this, has anyone done a muffler delete with vibrant resonators and catless downpipes? I'm sure the resonators will ensure 0 rasp, and the muffler delete will increase the sound drastically.

I want a loud exhaust with 0 rasp. 400whp cars should sound loud and mean. Plain and simple.

Honestly, the only way to know is to do. Some peoples idea of rasp and volume is different than others and, IMHO, videos are useless because cars never sound the same on camera as in person.
Just remove the magnaflow section and see how it sounds, it'll give you a good idea of how it will sound with a proper muffler delete.

I dont have catless downpipes (but muffler delete) but i know a guy who did exactly what you did.

Very loud. wasnt even that raspy. i feel the resonators will HELP with rasp, but not completely deaden it.

DO IT. if you can stand the drone of course (nothing you can really do since u have muffler delete)

I have a muffler delete and catless downpipes but still have my secondary cats, however, I have an e90 so I have one oem resonator over the e92s and my car sounds great. I'm sure with the vibrant resonator the car will sound mean. It is not too loud at all under normal driving conditions but once I get on it it really opens up but still is not obnoxiously loud. The drone is pretty bad around 2.5k rpm but it's worth it because it sounds great and gets compliments all day long. Not bad for spending a total of $180 on exhaust

Rasp is the worst. I rather deal with a lower exhaust tone than a raspy sounding civic Anyday

+1 this is why my muffler delete went in the pooper.

I would add an extra set of resonators to a full straight exhaust. A friend of mine had full 2.5" straight pipes and it sounded awesome on low throttle ( exotic sounding) yet very raspy and JDM'ish when WOT.

I'm sure if you add the resonators, it wouldn't rasp. Maybe a pair where the secondary cats go and a pair where the mufflers used to be. I'm sure it would be really loud and wouldn't rasp. I don't feel like being a test dummy and cut my mufflers off
