Anyone in Colorado Springs/Denver area with a COBB 335i?

I'm looking into future upgrades once the warranty expires, and I'm wondering if there's anyone in town that would be willing to let me test drive their vehicle (preferably a 6 MT) to see what the difference a tuned 335i can make.

So far, my car is completely stock, and I want to keep things warranty-safe, for now. I'm looking into future upgrades. COBB seems nice, in that it is actually an ECU reflash.

How's the tune on the automatic versions? I wouldn't mind trying those out.

I ended up getting the 6 speed having only driven the automatics. I'm sure I could still get a pretty good idea of what a tune can do.

it's not bad. It's probably better on an auto than a manual.

You need an automatic because from what I've seen, you can't seem to launch your manual.

I want to run you with my RSX this year Alfred.

It's my car not me! I am just fine with launching a manual

I would love to run your fast rice-mobile, but I'm afraid I won't be able to spend much time at the track this coming season as my car needs a lot of work

I've never actually fixed this problem. My car has been throwing a CEL, the turbo whine is getting louder every day, and the car bogs under semi-heavy/heavy acceleration. Also, my clutch is starting to slip

I think so too. But, I'm still undecided. I'm gonna hang on to it for a little longer unless I come across a REALLY good deal.

Oh, cool! That's probably the setting I want to use, given the 91 octane around here. I am also currently in Colorado Springs, and have a 335xi with a 6 speed. I'd love to take your car for a spin, sometime!

Sounds like an excuse to get a new car if you ask me.

I'd do that, but I don't think my car is fully prepared for the kind of aggressive tunes I'd like. It's just stock and it doesn't even have an oil cooler.

I'll probably PM you, Patrick. I'm available next week, as well.
