Buying Dinar? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi just wanted to say I'm not trying to sell anyone on an idea by bringing this up, I just figure hey everyone here is primarily upper middle class and up, so I figure hey they are doing something right.

So my question is do you guys think buying Iraqi Dinar is a scam? Or do you think it is worth the risk?

Any input would be great, I was thinking of buying some, mostly for fun, haha this might show how young I am but I really like scenes in movies where the "hero" opens a safe and has passports and different kinds of money.

So I was thinking of buying about 100 dollars worth which is about 75,000 dinar. I figure it is a scam just because if people really thought it would be reevaluated soon, why would they sell it?

Anyways, I know there are a lot of articles out there about this subject, but I would prefer to hear it from you guys!

Buy it as a loss from the get go... you will only lose $100 at most. It probably won't go anywhere but in the end you only lost a little bit. If it does go somewhere (highly unlikely); you will make a ton of money.

Think of it as buying $100 worth of lottery tickets.

Because of the popularity of the idea from people who really don't understand currency trading but can understand the concept of it possibly being worth more, there are tons of scams out there going on.

I bought a ton the last time I was in Iraq. Who knows if it will bounce back to what it ever was... You might as well buy Lehman Bros stock and hope for the same outcome.
