Shocks/Springs and CPO...

Plan to drop the xi a little, still exploring the best way to do that. Definitely not coilovers; just shocks and springs to bring it back to normal (non-sport) height. Any implications for my CPO warranty?

Says who? I just had a window regulator and evap pump replaced under my CPO.

My guess is it would void the warranty on anything suspension related. (bushings, bearings, a-arms, anything aftermarket, and I'm sure they could make a case for steering)

Best bet would be to ask your dealer. Also bring up interior squeaks/rattles.

Yea man CPO covers A LOT of stuff. Pretty much anything non-maintenance related.

I wonder if using OEM sport (or non-xi, non-sport) springs and shocks would make any difference... I don't need anything too aggressive, just want to drop the car from its absurd XDrive height.

I was being very broad based on the lengthy list of exclusions. The CPO package I have says no suspension parts are covered under CPO.
