does any one have any experience of the following ipod retrofit:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3306654261...#ht_500wt_1287 dont think ive come across this on the forums... apparently it comes with a little display unit aswell that fits flush onto the dash and integrates the steering wheel controls too |

I was looking at that system too but no idea if this will work with the professional head unit I have, no I drive. Seen information on the net that it will work with the prof. head unit and other information that says its compatable with business headunits only.
Dealers are no help when asked. |

hmmm i know, it says it works with "BMW Business CD Radio SA662 or Professional CD Radio SA663" on the ebay listing but then ive also read that it doesnt work with the prof head unit :s
but does no one on the forums have this installed? im surprised! its supposed to be a genuine bmw article too will obv look tacky to those with lovely idrive setups ![]() |

I think that this was meant to work with yjhe old Business head unit and it is obsolete. I had the OEM iPod interface with professional head unit in my old car and it was ok.
