It's optional, you can choose to replace the stock DV with our custom billet unit or re-use the stock component.

Both stage 1's seem to put down basically the same numbers.

They seem to vary but fbo stage 1s are around 400-420whp with much better powerband then with stock turbo .. What I would like to see is stage 1 fbo vs stock turbo fbo and see how much faster stage 1s are ..

How does this Stage 1 compare to the other one on the market? Price point is the same, so which way do I go? I really do not want to run anything but 93 unless someone can convince me that running meth will not be the pain in the ass that it was on my last car.

I would like to upgrade the turbo, add a FMIC(if needed), add a custom PTF Cobb tune and use 93 octane. IS it worth doing this for the added power and power band smoothness?

Both stage 1's seem to be nearly identical. The other one does give you full credit towards a stage 2 if you decide to upgrade though. Personally after seeing the latest info I would just straight to a stage 2.

Some dyno sheets and information about how our turbos have performed can be found in our VTT Customers' Results N55 Thread
