Will these Hoosier "road race" tires work for the drag strip?

Well i know they will mount up to a 17" rim, i meant will it provide a much greater amount of traction over the stock tires for drag racing even though they are road racing tires.

I wouldnt suggest it. Typically road race tires have hella stiff sidewalls = bad wheel hop = broken shit. You need soft sidewall and sticky surface... AKA drag radial or drag slick.
