Best way to fix door dings / scratches?

All:

I have a 2009 328i in Monaco blue. On my passenger door, I have a fairly decent ding (appears to be from a grocery cart). Has anyone had luck repairing a dent/ding like this?

On my driver side door, it appears someone scraped my door with their bumper when parking. You can see in one of the pics that some of the paint is missing.

Planning to get some estimates, but curious if anyone has had success repairing similar issues.

Thanks!

DA** I was just about to rave about how magical PDR is (did it twice and no trace of the dings), but yours is on a crease.....sorry to see.....

The last two blemishes can be polished off with rubbing compound. The two door dings I have also, what I plan to do is have a PDR guy come out and massage the dent as best as he can and I'll follow up with some base coat/clear and follow up with a color sand and buff. The repair won't be perfect but I don't feel it would justify a complete door refinish.

A local dent removal guy just removed a dent exactly like that for me for $50. Did a great job removing the dent (which came w/the car when I bought it) but making the chip disappear is the more difficult job that I'm still working on.

If the scratches are down to the primer, you'll need to dab some color on them before sanding/polishing to smooth it out and then put some lacquer on top of that to fill and then sand/polish again until smooth. Be patient and allow enough time for the color/lacquer coats to dry/set before sanding/polishing and it should "almost" disappear. It will NEVER go away completely unless you do a complete repaint but, if you do it "right," it'll probably be essentially unnoticeable to everyone EXCEPT you.

Thanks for the advice all. I will reach out to a PDR place and see what they say about the ding on the crease.

Will give rubbing compound a shot on the drivers door.

Looks like the part on your door where your finger is pointing to is missing paint. The white scratches might come out but you will need to get that other part either filled with touchup paint to make it less noticeable or repaint the door.

Same for the dent on the crease. It looks like its missing paint too.

Never say never I suppose. I had one removed from the lower front corner of the driver's door, also an area that is typically too strong and not accessible....

As I mentioned above, a PDR guy removed a dent (just like the one pictured above) on the ridge line of my front passenger side door. So, it CAN be done. It all depends on the skill of the technician, many of whom will refuse to try because it is difficult to do but that doesn't mean it can't be done.

Had a ding in the same spot. My PDR guy fixed it back to new. Regarding the scracthes, someone also scuffed my rear bumper. Had it buffed out by my dealership body shop.

Ok guys and gals, I called www.dentdogs.com of Houston and they fixed it today. $120, slightly more expensive because it was on a crease, but I am very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend Dan from Dent Dogs in Houston!! See attached pic! The owner, Chad, even called me this evening to make sure I was satisfied - A+ for service!
