nitto invo sizes and dtc - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I have stock 18x8 and 18x8.5 on my 2008 335i coupe. It's time for some tires and I was considering the invos. 225/40R18 Front and 235/40R18 Rear are the closest match to oem tire width per specs on nittos website compared with specs for oem bridgestone on tireracks website. These sizes have a 10 rev per mile difference due to the rear being about .3 taller than front. Will this be ok or will it cause unwanted effects such as interfering with the traction control/dtc? Thanks.

Don't get Invo's. Not the best performance time for your money. A friend of mine had them and compared (at the time) to my Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics, his tires were crap. They had NO grip in the rain.
Hankook V12 or Dunlap DW are MUCH better tires for the money.

BTW: I'm running Michelin Pilot Super Sports. FANTASTIC tire for the street, wet and track.

I ended up purchasing the Invos. Heard great things.

Aren't the factory sizes 225/40/18 & 255/35/18 ?? Nitto makes these tires. These are what I just purchased.

Sizes between different tire manufacturers vary. Compare specs to see section width and overall diameter. Also, see approved rim widths.

Anyone have a pic of invo 255/35R18 on an 8.5 wide rim? I'd like to see the profile from the side to get a feel for how much fatter than stock it is.
