Thanks for your response, are there no plans to develop a proper tune for the N52B25 then? Also, I questioned about the mapping for 98ron fuel, but was told that our 98ron compared to your 93ron has little or no difference, so a specific tune was not needed?

If you get on the dyno we will surely do a custom tune for you. The issue is we don't have this model in the states to do any testing on.

98 ron is very close to our 93 oct so you are fine.

Hi Andrew, are you saying if I can get the car on a dyno, then send you the results and current file then you can further customise that map for me? Or I actually need to physically have you guys dyno and tune as we go? I understand that the N52B25 was in Canada but not US. Surprised no other B25 owners have requested and gone this route yet.

It would be best if you were on the dyno while we sent you updates but, either will work.

hey i have a e92 325i (2500cc) right hand drive european model......which obviously comes with Eurobox and three stage intake manifold

i jus got the simon tool and reflashed my ecu with AA Stage 2 tune.
Based on what everyone is saying the n52b25 2.5l comes with a 3stage intake manifold.
i really wana know if i got the right thing for my car. or is it that AA doesnt have a tune that works properly for that engine.

I have the tune on my car but it doesnt feel faster.
so im wondering if its cuz the AA Stage 2 tune i got from you guys isnt for the 3 stage manifold on the n52b25

Double check your intake manifold, I read on the forums too that the 323i came with a 3IM too, but it doesn't, it comes with a 2 stage, at least my one didnt anyway, mines a Jap spec with the EURO box too. Unless the 325i variation of the N52B25 came with a 3IM and not the 323i.

From what I understood when speaking to Zak, AA dont have a specific tune for the N52B25, and it was actually derived from a 128i/328i tune. But as discussed with Andrew above, if I can get my car on the dyno with the Stage 2 AA, and 3IM, AA can further refine the tune by using the results I get and the current file on my ECU.

Andrew - Can you confirm what you will need from me from the dyno run? graphs and actual numbers or? I will be booking in for a session next week.

spoke to Zak from active and he said my tune was developed based on the map i gave him. so i guess i just need to wait for my ecu to fully adapt.

my gas in jamaica is 90octane. the gas isnt so good, so it may be 89.

also waiting to hear something from Yomny who said hes checking on the something for me.

customer service is good.

Got my 3 stage coming shortly in the mail and will surely provide feedback once installed: excited! For the sake of comparison later I run the magna flow, stock airbox with k&n plus charcoal delete and the AA 3 stage tune ready to be simone'd!! Already running the standard tune and can feel the difference, but more is better! And yes, that is what xxx said!

So only way I would lose tune is if ecu was written over? And if tthis happens would I have to pay to get the tune back if I previously paid for it?

If using the Simon no but, if you send it in or have it flashed at a dealer you have 1 free reflash within the first year $99 after that.
