225/45/17 change to 235/40/18 sqr. Warranty and feel

I have a 2008 328XI CPO with the sport package. The car originally came with 225/45/17 RFT tires all the way around. I recently updated to the 8'' wide 193 rims with 235/40/18 tires the whole way around.

I have two questions for those who might have knowlege in this area.

1) since the fronts were originally 225 wide tires will having the 235 wide tires effect the CPO warranty?

2) The steering feels much stiffer now when making turns. I know the OEM 193 Rims will make a difference but, just wondering if BMW has the car setup to run 225 wide fronts and the 235 wide fronts might cause a long term issue with the power steering components down the road?

Thanks for your input.

the 193M rims are/were offered with xi models recently. I don't think it'll be a problem, especially give that you're running a square setup.
