just dropped my car off today at 7:30 am to get the new progman v25.02.00 installed. i made sure with the very nice advisor it was not v25.00.02 and i wanted either v25.01.01 or v25.02.00. they do have the .02.00 and now is 2:25 and i am anxiously waiting for the call. hopefull i will get my car back today or def tom? if not tom i am screwed as i didn't get a loaner (next loaner avail is june 8th). sunday they close and monday(memorial day) closed as well. hopefully all goes well and i get car back today. i thought it only took 5-6 hours 7-8 pushing it...

anyone else have .02.00? can't wait for the new graphics and POI!!!

My dealership confirmed Wed that they will replace my problematic V25.00.01 (disabled my voice commands) with V25.02.00, which they just received. Only hold up is me, I'm traveling.

My car never had an update since I picked it up via ED Oct of last year. Where can I find what v25.02.00 brings to the table?

I got 25.02 installed yesterday and everything works fine so far. I haven't been able to use my Voice Command since I bought the car, now it's fixed.
I haven't had a chance to double-check, but I can't see the "speed limit" option under vehicle settings any more ( I have I-Drive ). Can anyone with 25.02 confirm?

i got the call at 3:20 saying car was ready. so i dropped 7:30 morning and picked up 3:20 afternoon (8 hour job). i was so excited as soon as i started the engine and the new graphics appeared. i rushed home so i can see if my address book, settings, etc are all fine from before. my 3 light turn signal was turned off along with others that i had to put back on to my previous settings.

i don't have the speed limit option either...is this an error or did they delete it? did the v25.01.01 have it? maybe v25.02.01 with the speed limit? but personally i don't use it so i am happy with my v25.02.00 update. i finally got the POI which is amazing but it should be its own option and not in a category. (if this is enabled in future updated i def gotta hop on that)

Got appoitment for 05/29/07 - replace all 4 tires and update Progman. :rocks:
Edit: nothing wrong with tires - but if tire manufacture recall and get replaced for free - why not!

Speed limiting option is in the Navigation menu -- one of the options in the second submenu next to Address Book, etc.

They kept the car overnight. Said they started the programming before they closed up shop, but in the morning the computer it said the installation failed. They tried again and it failed a second time. Then they did some other type of reset first, and it worked on the third attempt. Car was ready on day 2 at about 5:30. When I got their at 4:30 I went into the shop and the car was still hooked up and downloading. They reset my radio stations but the memory seats, auto door locking, and TPM had to be re-initialized. Took care of it on the way home.

can you please let us know if they replace your tires with no issues? The Tech bulletin shows how they can check for the abnormal feathering, and they are to check to see if this exists, i.e., they supposedly don't just change out the tires if they can't hear the road noise and can't measure the feathering.

So I am VERY curious, please let us know how this goes. Thanks

supposedly V25.02.00 does not address any E9x-specific items beyond what V25.01.01 fixed. So if you have V25.01.01, no difference.

there is an SIB on here somewhere showing what V25.01.01 fixed over the last two versions.

As to someone asking how long it takes: it is usually a one day job, but they told me they prefer not to schedule SW uploads on Friday's, as it MIGHT need to be held overnight. Probably if they run into issues like they did with a previous poster.

my last upload was done in one day.

look up the SIB that originally describes V25.00.00, it had a TON of fixes and improvements. tons of posts on here.

but V25.00.00 had some problems, so they keep releasing updated versions (about 6 so far, that I am aware of). But the big change is V25. then small fixes in subsequent versions. V25.00.00 didn't come out until March, so it sounds like you don't have it.

they won't just give it to you, you need to learn about some of the bugs, and which one you can quote that the SIB requires them to upgrade you on "customer complaint basis only". do a search on here and you will find tons of stuff.

search for "arrow pop up", V25, etc. i used the arrow pop up issue in Nav guidance to get my SW for free.

otherwise they charge like $180 or something.

Yes, I got 25.02.00 on mine, and the changes are the same as reported for 25.01.01. So far, so good. The POI search is a nice update. The graphics IMO are worse, but it seems I'm one of only a handful of people here with that opinion. Overall, it's a nice upgrade from my previous version, and fixed several problems I had, including the "CD continues to play when muted or when car is off" problem.

My car is going in for the software upgrade next week, and I just hope that it's the most up to date version that the UK dealers have.

Just out of interest for those that have had it done - did the upgrade definitely wipe your drivers seat position memory settings? I've spent hours getting the right position and it will be a shame to lose it! I guess my only option is to physically measure the seat position and note it all down before the car goes in to the dealers.

It's interesting that most of my settings are not reset. My seat memory settings, saved locations, bluetooth pair info are fine, but my radio settings and trip odometer are reset. But I agree that most important one is the seat.

WHAT???? I was thinking that recall mean recall all tires that was produced between specific time. .
And I will use Navy pop up arrow for Progman update. Any more suggestion/advice?

Same for me, except I had to re-pair BT. Radio and trip computer were reset. I lost all my radio presets. I think the average mpg and mph on the dash were reset, too.

You are the first e92 335 I've read about having VR problems. Most VR problems were '06 e90s after upgrading to v25.00.0x.

Since you are the first 335 coupe I've read about with 25.02 I have a couple questions.

Does RTTI work for you after 25.02? Do you get a TI or a TI+ at the bottom of the screen? My RTTI is broken after a 25.00.0x upgrade. I get a TI but no traffic updates. I used to get TI+ and up to the minute traffic.

After looking in the nav area did you find the speed limit notification option? I use that a lot where I am at since my town is littered with speed cameras.

hey i did manage to find the speed limit. yes the v25.02.00 has that. the Ti or Ti+ i have no clue. what do those mean and do and where is it exactly located? is it on the main 4 options screen? if you let me know i can tell you asap. thanks.
