335i burnout

Ok before anyone starts flaming me about burnouts being bad for the car or more specifcally the tires, can someone explain to me how to do this with an automatic transmission. I tried but i can't seem to get it done on the 335i and i don't want to mess around and find out through trial and error because it's still a baby. Thanks

I'd think you'd be able to turn off the traction control completely...put the step into M1 and stomp the gas and try to hold it short of redline as best you can so as to not cause the tranny to auto shift up to M2. I suppose for a standstill burnout you'd hold the brake

Not something I would ever do, but that would make the most sense to me. I'd be surprised if you can't get the auto to do this. I dunno...anyone else?

Press the DTC button for maybe 5 seconds. Put it in first gear. Floor it.

I don't drive an automatic, but this should do the trick. If you still have trouble, put some water down on the ground and try it again.

CDV messes you up bad when trying to do a burn out.

When i dump / feather anything above 4k if its not on went ground, the CDV kicks in and I just end up burning my clutch.

take of the DSC by pressing the DTC button for around 5 seconds, press on the brakes SLIGHTLY with you left foot, press the gas all the way with your right, the rear tires will spin like HECK until you release the brakes and burnout.
