Escort Radar Install

On average how long does a Escort Radar Detector Hardwire take along with Escort ZR4 laser shifters take to install by a professional on a 335i?

Thanks.

When I had it done it took about 6 hours. I had it done professioally at my friends shop and I watched as the tech worked. To do a good job is fairly time consuming.

i installed the escort radar detector with the mute button extension in under an hour. not sure about the laser shifters though. pretty simple install and wires hide very well.

Ok thanks!!!! I have heard that laser interceptor was having some problems with their laser heads. Is that true? I already have a 9500ix and love it because I drive a lot in the city.

Thanks.

Be careful with the Auto-Learn Feature. I've disabled mine, since it blocks bands within a certain distance of the false alarm. I know this since I had my buddy's V1 in comparison one night. The 9500 was silent, as the V1 had picked up a slight K-Band from an automatic door (Auto-Leanred feature disabled this), but when a City cop popped over the hill in front of us, we were blasted with K-Band, and the 9500 still remained silent. The 9500 did pick up other threats sooner though.
