Can you give the link for the download? Thanks. Don't want to download a virus laden program.

Is it confirmed that you cannot use the BT cable with inpa? We need any cable that supports d-can?

I think that the flash tuners will have an edge when it comes to big turbo tuning once they figure out how to read the flow rates of the injectors and more importantly, change the frequency of the injector pulses!
These are probably reference #s figured out from the factory for the ecu to work off of .

Also, when you code the injector using a GT1 the last number of the 6 (which would be the last decimal place on fuel/pulse) gets changed on its own by the ecu once you program it. The first time I had injectors coded, I thougt all my injectors were coded with the wrong number! I'm not sure why the ecu does this, but maybe it will help you out in some way when you are trying to figure this coding out with INPA.

Will you be doing a formal write up of what hardware and software will be needed to do this, once you have completed everything?

Thanks to all the douche bags in the coding section i don't think he can give straight answers. That whole section is a joke, you honestly can't give or recieve help. Fuck those sponsers that made it that way. Whats the point of having a section of you're not allowed to tell people how to do stuff without it stepping on a "vendors" toes?

I just aborted the download...I will wait for the full DIY on this. Too many bugs and viruses on the internet to go forward with this application of unknown files

Guys, relax.

I am going to do the work after lunch. I'll put a space heater in my garage and then I'll replace the injector and try to code it in. I already have the battery unplugged trying to let the fuel pressure subside a bit.

I'll try to get something going very soon.

Setting up INPA is not that simple. You need to make sure you have the correct versions and then you need to set up your laptop to communicate with your car properly. And yes, there is a cable that you need to purchase. The BT cable WILL NOT work.

Some additional info: No, the BT tool cable won't work. Yes, you need the D-CAN capable cable. You will need 32-bit Windows. No, 64-bit windows will NOT work.

If I am successful, I'll try to create a complete virtual machine and give you this. It'll be all setup and ready.

What you have a garage!! That's unacceptable that you can't get this done. Some people work outside in these weather !! Lol

Hmm, I wonder if you can control the individual output of a particular cylindar...make one run richer than the others. That may be useful for me

Engine cover is off. I discovered 2 mis-coded injectors! Injectors 3 and 5 are mis-coded! Son of a bitch!

I swear, I will blow up my local stealership. The morons did not install a decoupling element (seal) for injector 1! ...and that's the cylinder I've been getting misfires on!

Try having your stealership forget to install all 6 decoupling elements. Yeah that happened to me.

The full DIY will come later. I want to do a proper write up and not rush it. Here is the video for the impatient:
