Not sure where you are exactly but 2 hours is not bad. LimeRock, NJMP & Pocono are all within 2-2.5hrs from NYC and then it's the Glen & Summit Point about 4.5hr away.

have a villa at the track and know many people there, please let me know if you need any help with the track or such, ill be there most likely.

as far as track goes either the GT-R or 2011 STI..most likely will be bringing the STI
too much to list but with new 17 lbwheels and hoosier R6's with a DCCD..i'll be running circles around the s4's, the best mod is to tighten the nut behind the wheel!

Recently installed: Z4 3.5is front rotors, CC pads, Super Blue
Recently done under warranty: new turbos, wastegates, injectors
To be done by March: K1s, Star Specs, front tension rods & control arms, coolant flush 50/50 with MoCool, new plugs, additional oil cooler on the driver's side fender (either ER or AR..)

My car overheated a lot last year.. I'm really hoping these would fix.

Depends on how experienced you are with tracking. It's BETTER if you have LESS mods as your car will be more predictable and easier to learn.

If your usually in the black run group... yeah, probably should upgrade the RFT's. If your Green/Yellow, those will be fine.

Need more info's.

Never tracked before in my life. I'll be in the green group I guess. I need an excuse to upgrade, but the only power mods are intercooler, charge pipe and meth for me

you don't need any power mods, the biggest improvement is always training for the nut behind the wheel. They'll repeat the same throughout the day.

Your instructor will take you around the track for a few laps in your car, you'll be amazed at what these people can do with a stock car. Then ask for a ride in his car when the black group is out (instructors) and try not to puke, he/she won't be happy for the rest of the day + you have to clean it up. They'll tell you ahead of time to let them know the moment you get dizzy, it's normal.

These guys sometimes defy the laws of physics.

Do I get to then drive my own car after the instructor took me around for a few laps? I think I'm ready to register. Can any car participate? I have a friend that may wanna bring his srt-4

1. You dont have to let your instructor drive your car if you don't like other people driving it. However the experience is mind boggling because the things they can do with your car is unbelievable. Afterwards you'll be in the driving seat while they sit in the passenger seat and you'll realize that it's not your car that's the limiting factor, but yourself.

2. Any car can participate. I've seen a Prius. True story.

Yes, after the first 2-3 laps you're driving for the rest of the day and he/she is sitting next to you. If you're the next Vettel, you may get bumped up to a higher group or get waived off to drive solo on your first run, you never know
You'll be amazed at how much speed you'll pick up by the end of the first day.

Any car can participate, model/brand doesn't matter. All that matters is that it can pass the tech inspection, basic safety items. (look at the registration page for details)

One of the CCA groups in this area allows SAVs in the green group, someone brought an X3 with A/S tires....that was a scary thing to watch
