BMW 328i COUPE MODS?
Hi,
I just purchased an 08 328i Coupe for 25k (had 13.5 k miles) came with nav. IM VERY HAPPY!!! I'm looking to do a few mods to the car. (Exhaust, New Trunk, Black Wheels, Tinted Windows/Lights, BMW Carbon Emblems, and maybe an M3 body kit) Let me know some good wheels, i like forged like BBS that are a good price and good quality...also some good mods you guys have done to your e92 coupes! I'd like to know what you guys think I should do. I don't want it to look to outrageous, just all blacked out and very clean! |

My other ride is a Bianchi Infinito
|
Painted reflectors, tune, VMR VB3s (staggered is a must), LUX H8 V3, and soon BMW PE and some sort of intake is my list. Enjoy the car man. Pics when you get it.

1. Wheels (look into VMR for entry level)
2. Non-RFT summer tires 3. Coilovers (look into STV1 for entry level) 4. LUX angel eyes (skip the rest unless you go with OSS) 5. Painted reflectors 6. OEM aero lip (front. Ebay is cheaper, but fitment not 100%) 7. Huper Optik tint 8. BMW performance exhaust (no better, imo. Click link in my signature for a comparison vid) 9. Mtech/M3 steering wheel 10. M3 trunk spoiler (JBspeed has a perfect one for dirt cheap) 11. BMS Powerbox (chip tune) or flash tune.

I have an AFE intake and Magnaflow catback exhaust on my 2 door 328i. Most ppl here will tell you to get the BMW Performance Exhaust which is great too, but I like this combo cuz you hear the low rumble of the Magnaflow at low rpm, and the AFE screams at high rpm. But if you like it loud go with AFE and PE since they are both screamers.
I also have 19' BMW Performance Rims and a replica Aero Front Lip. The fitment for the replica isn't that great. It's not noticable from a distance (or on pics) but if you're standing beside the car, you'll see it. I would look into getting an authentic lip although I'm not sure how much more it is. Congrats and happy modding! |

thanks guys...your input definitely helped out...ive been searching for wheels i like the CSL's but yeah i have a bit of money that i put aside for the car and i will most deff install the rims...i was thinking of doing an exhaust delete on it, but it can mess up the air in the system..so ill either go with the pe or the magnaflow with an intake...the tint and that stuff is easy ill get that installed at a local shop i like the LUX lights too... thanks a lot!!

Same here with 2008 328i coupe. 100% stock right now. Saving money for M3.
=) M6 replica wheels look really good on coupes. Also dont forget oem style lip(m-tec) and exhaust tip. I think paying hundreds of dollars for exhaust on 328i waste. In other hand 335i is well worth it. |

Whatever you buy, buy right and install it right. Try not do short cut your installs, otherwise YOU'LL pay in the end.
Whatever you do, have a plan of what you want your to do. Power, handling, looks, or sound. All the above, then make sure you have deep enough pockets -plan accordingly.
