I would consider something like this only if a) I had a LOT more time and b) I knew what the hell I was doing...

The BitOne gave me nightmares (when I got some sleep in between fruitless tuning sessions)...

If I were you I would not throw the MS-8 out just yet.

I like the SW on the P-DSP. I wish the Q and center freqs were more flexible.

Ken,

I'm not all that concerned with fine-tuning on the Q level based on the music I listen to. Should fit nicely in the trunk also. I saw how small it is at Don's the other day.

There are three kinds of people - those who can and want to tweak, those who want some help tweaking, those who want more of a set and forget approach.

The mfgs has realized this and are starting to come out with/has released some great solutions for each. MS-8 users tend to fall into the the last of those three (I'm a reformed tweaker and now a lazy listener ).

I hear ya. Only reason why i dropped the DSP-6 for the MS-8 was because i run a 4-way and had no sub control with the DSP-6. I prefer crossover and eq adjustments to be made via software.
