frustrating fill-up - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

dont know if its just me but everytime i try to put fuel in the 330i the trip on the fuel hose keeps going and it takes forever to put even £30 of fuel in it, anyone have a similar problem

I'd wager your breather hose is blocked/kinked or something like that.

Had this on a rattly old Vectra but could never be bothered to sort it out as I only ever put £10 of fuel in at a time after getting bored!!!!!

Sod that on a E9* with a 60ltr tank.

Try pulling the nozzle back an inch out of the filler neck. I used to have to do this on the E46. Obviously not do far you end up covered in fuel though!!

Red diesel does tend to foam more than pump fuel.
