I was looking on how to add a usb and I saw this. Any ideas??? it was unplugged just sitting there.

Thanks! Now is there anything I can do with it? I do not have blue tooth in the car.

Its really just one of those "ready to be used" type of things its nothing big just like the trunk has "6 disc cd changer ready and subwoofer ready" stuff. You'd have to buy something to add it on

BMW uses 1 harness for the car (and use connections based on features)

That would be oversimplification to the point of being wrong, I'm afraid. There are some things that are prewired, yes. But many things are not. There isn't a Top HiFi harness in a HiFi car. There isn't a HiFi harness in a Stereo car.

This car probably has this harness just because it has BT from the factory. That's my guess.

Well I know there is the 1 main harness from a distro box that runs through the whole car (I saw an E90 w/ all the interior out at the dealership getting this all replaced)

I am sure w/ options there should be connectors to add/or not add features of the car
